mai Index represents the price movement that reflects all common stocks trading on the Market for Alternative Investment (mai). It is a composite index.

Calculation Methodologymai Index calculations are in line with the calculation methodology used by SET Index:
  • Using market capitalization-weighted method
  • Calculating from the prices of all common stocks listed on mai
  • Excluding stocks that have been suspended for more than one year
Base value adjustmentmai Index calculation is adjusted in line with modifications in the values of stocks resulting from changes in the number of stocks due to various events, such as fund-raising to public offerings, conversion from preferred to common stock, or exercising warrants, including the shifting of stocks from mai’s market to SET's main market, in order to eliminate all effects other than price movements from mai Index.
