The SET President is appointed
by the Board and serves as an ex-officio member of the Board

The SET Board of Governors is comprised of a maximum of eleven persons, six of whom are appointed by the SEC, and four who are elected by the SET members. The SET President is appointed by the Board and serves as an ex-officio member of the Board. The SET Board of Governors is responsible for formulating policies and supervising operations in accordance with relevant laws; however, the modification of certain rules and regulations by the Board must be approved by a meeting of the member companies and/or the SEC.
