Member Supervision Department
Member Supervision Department oversees and advises members regarding compliance with regulations, guidelines and procedures to ensure efficiency and fairness of members’ operations. The ongoing supervision of members will be undertaken in 2 manners, including:
- Off-site monitoring: involves inspection of reporting data from members.This allows SET to supervise member companies and be informed of current situation of each company.
- On-site inspection: SET officers perform on-site inspection on each member with a cycle of 2-3 years. The same procedure and standard are applied in carrying out inspection for all members. The selection of members for inspection is based on Risk-Based Approach by considering reporting data obtained from off-site monitoring and other available information.
