Pornanong Budsaratragoon is a distinguished professional with a robust academic background and extensive academic and regulatory experience. She holds a BBA in quantitative analysis from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, an MBA in management of information systems from the University of Dallas, USA, and a DBA in finance from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
Her tenure at the Securities and Exchange Commission showcases her leadership, serving as the board member of the capital market supervisory board, chair of the sub-committee on consideration of regulations on issuance and offering of debt securities, derivatives, and structured products, chair of the sub-committee on consideration of regulations on supervision of business and market intermediaries, and member of the sub-committee on consideration of regulations on asset management.
Prior to her current role, Pornanong held the position of full-time professor at Chulalongkorn University. In addition to heading the banking and finance department, she chaired the committee of the Master of Science program in corporate governance, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy. Her academic prowess is evident through the publication of numerous textbooks and research studies. In recognition of her scholarly contributions, she was conferred the title of Full Professor of Business Administration in Finance at Chulalongkorn University, effective June 2021.
Pornanong's influence also extends to key institutions such as the Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand, the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Institute Council Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, the Office of the Higher Education Commission, and the National Savings Fund. Mr. Asadej Kongsiri has been the President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) since September 19, 2024. He currently serves as a Director of the Capital Market Development Fund and Vice Chairman of the Sem Pringpuangkeo Foundation.
Mr. Kongsiri’s past experiences include serving as Lead Partner for Financial Advisory at Deloitte Thailand, Managing Director of Investment Banking at Finansa Securities Limited, Head of Thailand at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Vice President of Investment Banking at JP Morgan in Thailand. He has also worked as a Financial Management Officer and Insurance Secretary at Trans Thai-Malaysia (Thailand) Limited. Earlier in his career, he served as a Project Engineer at the PTT Gas Business Unit of PTT Public Company Limited.
Mr. Kongsiri holds a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK. He has also completed the Director Certification Program from the Thai Institute of Directors Association.

Mrs. Chavinda Hanratanakool brings over 35 years of experience in the investment field. She joined Krungthai Asset Management PCL. (KTAM) in 2010 as Senior Executive Vice President of the Private Fund & Property Fund Department. After four years in that role, she was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2014. Since 2022, she has also served as Chairman of the Association of Investment Management Companies (AIMC).
Prior to joining KTAM, Chavinda began her career at Citibank Private Banking, Bangkok, as Assistant Vice President - Fund Manager in the Portfolio Management Department. Dr. Roong Poshyananda Mallikamas brings a wealth of expertise and experience in economics and financial policy to her role as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Thailand. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an A.B. (magna cum laude) in Economics from Harvard University.
Her career at the Bank of Thailand has been marked by significant leadership roles, including Deputy Governor for Corporate Development, Assistant Governor overseeing Financial Institutions Policy, and responsibilities in Financial Stability and Corporate Strategy. Dr. Mallikamas has also served as Senior Director of Financial Markets and played a crucial role as Senior Director for Macroeconomic and Monetary Policy, contributing to the central bank’s strategic direction and policy formulation.

Thapanee Kiatphaibool is a visionary leader with over 25 years of experience shaping the tourism landscape of Thailand. Currently serving as the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), she brings an unmatched blend of strategic foresight, marketing acumen, and international diplomacy to her role. Her leadership has been instrumental in positioning Thailand as a premier global destination, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation.
Thapanee’s journey with TAT began in 1999 as a Junior Foreign Affairs Officer, where she contributed to cross-border tourism initiatives within the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) and pioneered digital campaigns like the Google Street View partnership and the 'Amazing Thailand' social media platforms. Her early contributions laid the groundwork for a modernized approach to destination marketing.
As Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business from 2019 to 2021, she played a critical role in Thailand’s pandemic response by launching the Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA) certification program—an initiative that restored traveler confidence and set global standards for health and safety in tourism. She also helped introduce the Special Tourist Visa (STV) and other quarantine programs that facilitated Thailand’s early reopening to international visitors.
From 2021 to 2023, Thapanee served as Deputy Governor for Domestic Marketing, where she championed tourism innovation through initiatives such as workation packages, faith-based and religious travel, and solo traveler campaigns. Her efforts in this role stimulated over 151 million domestic trips in 2022, generating more than 641 billion Baht in revenue and revitalizing the local economy post-COVID.
In 2023, Thapanee was appointed Governor of TAT. Under her leadership, Thailand has expanded its global presence through strategic alliances with international film and television productions, advanced visa waivers like the groundbreaking agreement with China, and progressive campaigns to position Thailand as an LGBTQ+ friendly destination—including support for the country’s bid to host WorldPride 2028.
Thapanee’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive tourism has earned her numerous accolades, including the PATA Grand Award 2018 for the "King’s Wisdom for Sustainable Tourism" project and widespread recognition for the SHA certification initiative.

William E. Heinecke

William E. Heinecke is the founder and chairman of Minor International, a Thailand-based multinational spanning the Minor Hotels and Minor Food groups. He launched the company in Bangkok with $1,200 dollars in borrowed funds at the age of just 17, naming it “Minor Holdings” to reflect his status as a legal minor. Over six decades, he has transformed this small startup into a USD 5 billion hospitality empire with over 78,000 employees in 65 countries.
Known as one of Asia’s most inveterate entrepreneurs, Mr Heinecke’s maverick style, keen business acumen, and passion for experiential hospitality propelled Minor Hotels into one of the world’s largest hospitality groups – home to brands like Anantara, Avani, Elewana Collection, Tivoli, and NH Hotels and boasting over 640 properties in 65 countries.
Mr Heinecke launched Minor Food in 1980 with a single pizza outlet, introducing the American fast-food concept to Thailand. The group now boasts 2,700 stores, including The Pizza Company, The Coffee Club, and Burger King, across 24 countries. Minor Lifestyle also operates nearly 300 retail stores in Thailand.
In his role as Chairman of the Board, Heinecke now focuses his energy on long-term strategy, philanthropy, and forging new partnerships. A Thai citizen since 1991, he is an avid adventurer, pilot, vintage car collector, and co-owner of Mjets – Thailand’s first and only private jet FBO.

Mr. Chai Eamsiri joined Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) in 1985 and was promoted to Manager of Fuel Department in 1997, then Director of Corporate Insurance in 2003 and Director of Petroleum and Fuel Management in 2006 consecutively. In 2014, Mr. Eamsiri was appointed Vice President of Petroleum, Corporate Insurance and Aviation Environment Department. His most recent position was Chief of Financial Officer.
With Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Assumption University and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Kasetsart University as well as over 40 years of working with THAI, Mr. Eamsiri has accumulated experiences and skills of airline business in important key areas of the company’s operations including financial and accounting literacy which is highly significant in achieving the Rehabilitation Plan amendments. Mr. Eamsiri has worked with international organizations and has been entrusted to be in a special working group of the business restructuring initiatives in 2020. He has played a vital role in the company’s Rehabilitation Plan implementation and transformation since 2020.

Manop Sangiambut has served as Group CFO since 2020, playing a pivotal role in formulating the Group’s strategic direction and navigating the highly competitive, fast changing financial services. Manop has taken the leadership in cultivating an AI-first mindset and driving various AI initiatives within the SCBX Group. He received Asia’s Best CFO Award by Corporate Governance Asia (2023), Best and Outstanding CFO Awards by the Investment Analyst Association (2024, 2021), and the Issuer of the Year Award by the Thai Bond Market Association (2024).
Prior to his CFO appointments, Manop led SCB’s International Banking Business and China Business, pioneering the development of regional banking platforms in key markets including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia. Under his leadership, SCB was the sole Thai bank to receive the “Best Local Bank in ASEAN for Belt & Road Award” from Asia Money for three consecutive years (2017–2019) and the “Best Belt & Road Bank for Thailand Award” from FinanceAsia in 2018.
