Subject:    Scheduled maintenance to improve refinery efficiency and reliability

Dear Sir,

Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited would like to notify the Stock Exchange 
of Thailand that the Company will start a shutdown of the Atmospheric Pipestill
unit No. 2 for scheduled maintenance for a period of approximately 33 days
starting from September 7, 2020 to improve efficiency and reliability. As a
result, refinery throughput will be reduced at approximately 72,000 BBL/day
during the units' shutdown period.

The Company has increased inventory levels and secured inventory and product 
from other sources to ensure a continuous supply during the period. The Company,
 therefore, is expecting no significant impact to the Company's sales.
