Re:  Clarification of the Decrease of Net 
Income from Operations in excess of 20%

SCB Asset Management Co.,Ltd. in its capacity as the fund
manager of SCB SET Index Fund would like to inform the reason behind the
decrease of net income from operations of the year ended January 31, 2016 from
the same period in the previous year of more than 20%. Since the purchase or
sales of the securities' fund will be conducted when the unit holder subscribe
or redeem the unit trust. Accordingly, a profit/loss of fund which is the result
of these transactions.     

As a result, SCB SET Index Fund posted a net loss
of Bt1,053.10mn for the operation ended January 31, 2016, decreased from a net
gain of Bt1,054.02mn for the operation ended January 31, 2015.
